Step into a World of Books
Jinbocho is famous worldwide as the center of vintage books. Some of the bookstores here have been open for over 100 years. As you browse through rare scrolls, vintage magazines, and old maps, you might notice a familiar feeling the same sense of history we cherish here at D-Ryokan with our 110-year-old historical decor.

Warm Up with a "Jinbocho Curry"
After exploring the bookshelves, there is only one way to warm up: a steaming plate of Jinbocho Curry. This neighborhood is the "Curry Capital" of Japan. We highly recommend:

Bondy: Famous for its rich, European-style curry served with a side of steamed potato.

Kyoeido: Known for its unique, dark "Sumatra" curry that has been a local favorite since 1924.

The Perfect Pair
There is nothing quite like the smell of old paper and the aroma of spices on a winter day. It is an experience that feels cozy, intellectual, and deeply nostalgic.

The trip from Myogadani Station to Jinbocho is easy (about 30 minutes via the Marunouchi and Hanzomon lines). After a day of exploring Tokyo’s history, come back to our quiet neighborhood to relax and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere.
