【文京区イベント】文京の夏朝顔・Summer in Tokyo: Bunkyo Morning Glory
D旅館のある文京区小石川に、日本の夏の訪れを告げる風物詩がやってきます。
2026年7月18日（土）・19日（日）の2日間、歴史ある町並みの中で「文京朝顔・ほおずき市」が開催されます。
本イベントの見どころ
- 江戸から続く「変化朝顔」の展示
- 朝顔の花合わせ会（品評会）
- 伝統芸能とローカル模擬店
会場となる伝通院（朝顔）と源覚寺（ほおずき）、そして町なかのサブ会場を巡りながら、江戸情緒と夏の熱気を感じてみませんか。当館からは徒歩圏内なので、朝の涼しいお散歩に最適なロケーションです。

電車でお越しの場合
東京メトロ丸ノ内線「茗荷谷駅」から「後楽園駅」（1駅）、下車後 徒歩10分
バスでお越しの場合
文京区コミュニティバス「Bーぐる」（目白台・小日向ルート）をご利用ください。D旅館から徒歩約3分の「28番：胡蝶蘭専門店らんや（播磨坂）」から乗車し、「30番：小石川一丁目」で下車、徒歩3分です。
Summer in Tokyo: Bunkyo Morning Glory & Ground Cherry Fair
The beautiful colors of a traditional Japanese summer are coming to our neighborhood.
On July 18th and 19th, 2026, the historic streets of Koishikawa, Bunkyo City — right where D-Ryokan is located — will host the beloved Bunkyo Morning Glory & Ground Cherry Fair (Asagao & Hozuki Ichi).
Special Festival Highlights
- Exhibition of rare "Henka Asagao" (mutant morning glories)
- Morning glory judging competition (Hana-awase Kai)
- Traditional performances and local food stalls
Wander between Dentsu-in Temple, Genkaku-ji Temple, and various local sub-venues to immerse yourself in the nostalgic atmosphere of old-school Tokyo. Since it is within walking distance from D-Ryokan, you can easily enjoy a refreshing morning stroll through the festival.

How to Get There
By train: Take the Tokyo Metro Marunouchi Line from Myogadani Station to Korakuen Station (1 stop). From there it is about a 10-minute walk.
By bus: Take the Bunkyo City Community Bus "B-guru" (Mejirodai / Kohinata Route). Board at stop No. 28 "Orchid Specialty Shop Ranya (Harimazaka)", about a 3-minute walk from D-Ryokan, and get off at stop No. 30 "Koishikawa 1-chome". The festival area is a 3-minute walk from there.
